Western Buddhist Association

On May 16, 2026, the Western Buddhist Association held its second New York Buddhist Cultural Festival — A Mindful Walk for Wellness. More than a thousand people gathered at Cadman Plaza Park in Brooklyn for live mindful music, an opening blessing led by Venerable Masters, and a guided mindful walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, concluding with a dedication of merits at City Hall Park.

By bringing people together in one of New York City's most iconic public spaces, the walk carried a simple but important message: when we cultivate a calmer and clearer mind, we are better able to care for others and turn compassion into action.

2026年5月16日，西方佛教协会举办第二届纽约佛教文化节——「正念步行 · 身心安乐」。逾千名参与者齐聚布鲁克林卡德曼广场公园，在现场正念音乐与法师带领的开幕祈福之后，一同正念走过布鲁克林大桥，最后于市政厅公园回向圆满。

The 2025 New York Buddhist Culture Festival brought together practitioners, community members, and guests from all walks of life for dharma ceremonies, cultural performances, and shared celebration.
